Q: Is everything on free-video-footage.com free?

A: Yes! All the content we add to free-video-footage.com is free to download — you can download unlimited content and use it in your projects. The only thing we ask in return is that you help spread the word about this website or give us credit in your projects, so more people can discover free-video-footage.com.

Q: Do I have to sign up for an account?

A: Yes, in order to access our free library of content, you will need to register an account. You’ll only have to do this once. We keep your personal information safe, and do not share it with any 3rd party organisations.

Can I use clips in commercial projects?

Absolutely! You can use all clips downloaded from free-video-footage.com in any project, commercial or non-commercial. The only thing we ask is that you do not redistribute our clips in any way.

Q: I'm going to make a video with some of your content and I want to upload it to youtube. Can i do that?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I resell these animations as …Flash…Gifs…Screensavers…etc…?

A: No, you are free to use the animations in any project and modify them any way you choose, but you cannot repackage them in another format and resell them.

For example: You can use our clips as a background for the titles or credits in a commercial video. You may not put our clips on a DVD just as they are and sell or distribute it. They must be used to create your final product, they can't be the product.

Do I own the video clip once I download it?

No. Whilst we offer completely free stock videos for any project the copyright licence remains with us. By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, you are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the video clip in your own projects, personal or commercial.

Q: How does the animation compare to the preview I saw on the website?

A: The previews are smaller and compressed in order for them to be able to be previewed relatively quickly and might be as small as 100 Kilobytes whereas the actual Clips may be as large as 150 Megabytes and more.

Q: Does the content have the “free-video-footage” watermark on it?

A: No, The watermark seen in the center of the preview animations is not present in the actual Clips.
